Title : Jiseung Binyeo
This binyeo is made with the Jiseung Crafts technique, a traditional Korean craft technique, and embodies nature.
Everything From the main ingredient, Korean paper, to finishing with glutinous rice paste, they are all made from natural ingredients. By taking advantage of the light yet strong strengths of Hanji, I expressed the bulkiness of the jewelry as much as possible, and by expanding the Jiseung Crafts technique, which has been mainly produced as a traditional craft, to the area of jewelry, I aim to break the existing standardized framework and suggest new ways to utilize Hanji and Jiseung Crafts.
