I am delighted to share that my work, “Cross Section of a Fruit,” has been honored with the “Homo Faber Award”, a Partner Prize of the Cheongju International Craft Competition, 2025.

Presented by the Michelangelo Foundation, this prestigious award recognizes artists whose creativity and craftsmanship embody the Foundation’s values and image.

This award is a deeply meaningful honor for me, and I am truly delighted that my efforts to reinterpret Korea’s traditional Jiseung craft into contemporary jewelry have been recognized on the international stage. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to my ancestors for passing down such a precious cultural heritage.
